Personal Care Applications of Zeolite – 2

Zeolites absorb ammonium, ammonia and heavy metals in air and water, as well as in living metabolism, thanks to their high ion exchange capacity. Similarly, they can also curb the progression of radiation. While doing so, they leave pure and very useful nutrients such as calcium and magnesium, which come from their formation millions of years ago, to our metabolism.

All these are superior abilities that make zeolite different from other minerals and beneficial. In this way, this wonderful mineral has become an antidote to the problems of humans and other living things caused by living in unhealthy and toxic environments and environmental pollution.

Scientific studies and trials on volunteers have shown that purified and activated zeolite can very effectively absorb heavy metals and toxins and remove them from our metabolism, thus showing a high level of natural detox effect in our body.

Research shows that vitamins and nutrients taken into the body by impregnating zeolite are absorbed at a higher rate in metabolism than when these substances are taken into the body alone. Thus, our bodies benefit from such vitamins and nutrients at a higher rate when zeolite is used. As an example of this, the Entereks group anti-diarrhea drug was developed in Cuba in 1995 using clinoptilolite and used successfully in this field.

Health products and capsules developed using finely powdered and highly purified clinoptilolite-type zeolites remove heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium and various toxins, which we call free radicals, from our body when taken regularly. Heavy metals are an important factor that negatively affects the healthy functioning of our immune system, and thanks to this feature, zeolites strengthen the immune system and support its healthy functioning.  They can be safely used in situations where the immune system needs to remain strong, including anti-cancer therapies.

Anti-acid preparations developed using zeolites, when taken orally, quickly absorb the ammonia gas formed in the stomach during digestion and help relieve bloating and other ammonia-related discomforts

They have also been used for many years in dialysis to purify the blood.

Following the Chernobyl disaster (1986), Soviet Russia buried one million tons of zeolite in the soil in the nuclear reactor's impact zone to prevent radioactive isotopes from passing through the food chain to living organisms. Similarly, after the Fukushima nuclear reactor accident in Japan in 2011, zeolite was used as a radioactive barrier and even mixed into baby food to protect human metabolism against radioactive contamination.

The DeoClino R&D Team has been conducting research with the scientific world in this field for nearly 30 years with its experienced team with academic expertise. Our mission is to provide this wonderful mineral to the health and personal care sector with high purity and efficacy in appropriate standards and specifications.
